Equitable Excellence Scholarship

The Equitable Excellence Scholarship is a competitive merit-based scholarship that provides support for students to help cover the cost of college. Sponsored by the Equitable Foundation, it awards a $5,000 scholarship to 100 Equitable Excellence Scholarship winners who best demonstrate “the qualities of leadership, determination, and resilience as critical enablers of their future success.”

This scholarship is renewable for all four years of college, significantly offsetting the cost of college for Equitable Excellence Scholarship recipients and their families.

The Equitable Excellence Scholarship aims to empower students’ future plans so that they can continue to have positive impacts in their community.

The program aims to identify and support exceptional high school seniors who demonstrate a strong commitment to achieving their academic and personal goals.

Who is Eligible?:

To meet the criteria for the Equitable Excellence Scholarship, Applicants must:

• Be current high school seniors who plan to enroll full-time in an accredited two- or four-year college or university in the United States for the entire upcoming academic year.

• Be a United States citizen or legal resident living or claiming residency in one of the 50 U.S. states, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico.

• Be willing to provide a release to publicize their identities and information about their achievements along with photographs for use in Program promotion/information.

Applicants are advised to submit application well before the deadline date as late submissions are usually not considered.
