Alaska Bible School is a private Christian Bible college located in Palmer, Alaska. Founded in 1966, Alaska Bible School is the only accredited 4-year non-denominational Bible school in Alaska.
ABC offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in 4 major courses: Bible and Ministry, Biblical Studies, Biblical and Christian Ministry, and Elementary Education. The purpose of Alaska Bible College is to provide Bible and ministry training to Jesus’ followers seeking to serve His Church, expand His Kingdom, and cultivate human flourishing.
The mission of the school is to nurture students in Bible-based, academic programs that solidify their Christian worldview; mentor the students to faithfully utilize their spiritual gifts in culturally-relevant ministries within the church community. The school is dedicated to helping its students achieve growth in their spiritual life and be educated in a Christ-centered worldview.
Strategically located in the heart of Palmer, the campus and dorms provide the students with access to different cultural and recreational activities and enable easy access to incredible year-round opportunities.
Alaska Bible School campus is within walking distance from the community bike paths, local hikes, coffee shops, fast food, and grocery stores. ABC’s campus environment enables the availability of several sporting activities like Fishing, Hunting, Hiking, Mountain Biking, and snowboarding, amongst others.
The school’s housing facility is a quadplex that affords students a shared 2-bedroom apartment-style dorm that includes a full kitchen and common bathroom. Alaska Bible College seeks to enrich and deepen the spiritual life of its students with chapel services, dorm devotions, prayer partners, and by encouraging personal Bible reading and prayer.
ABC is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation (COA) of the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE), an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education, to grant certificates and degrees at the Associate and Baccalaureate levels.
