UofL Acceptance Rate – Getting admitted into the University of Louisville is highly competitive, considering the pedigree of her alumni network and the overall prestige. The University of Louisville enrolls about 20,000 – 25,000 students each year, making it one of the largest schools in the state of Kentucky.

The University of Louisville seeks to admit students who are college-ready and as such, students with strong high school grades and a pre-college high school curriculum are generally admitted. On test scores, the middle 50% of admitted first-year students scored between 22 and 28 on their ACTs. 25% scored 29-36 and the final 25% scored below 22.

Students with lower test scores (or students who apply without ACT/SAT test scores) will be considered if they demonstrate strong high school grades in a rigorous high school curriculum. Students that get into Louisville have an average SAT score between 1050-1270 or an average ACT score of 21-28.

As of 2022, University of Louisville’s acceptance rate is 65.1%. Thus, it is clear that you need to dot your I’s and T’s in your application to have a chance at studying at the coveted University of Louisville because the school is extremely selective.
